WELCOME
Hello! We are C.A.R.E., a group of 7th grade students from Project Reservoir at Christa McAuliffe School, PS 28 in Jersey City, New Jersey. Our mission is to reduce air pollution around us. C.A.R.E. stands for Clean Air Requires Effort.

ALEX CASTELLANOS
This is Alex. His role in the team is to plant seeds and water the plants.
DENNIS CARRION
This is Dennis. His role in the team is to research about plants that we may need.
IVANA FERNANDINI
This is Ivana. Her role in the team is to plant seeds. She is also the photographer of the team.
YARITZA HUESCA
This is Yaritza. Her role in the team is to help the younger children with planting.
JOSEPH KELLY
This is Joseph. His role in the team is to research about plants that we may need.
JAIKISHAN KHUBCHANDANI
This is Jack. His role in the team is to water the plants and help younger children with planting.

This is Joenna. Her role in the team is to water the plants and manage the social media. She is also the photographer of the team, along with Ivana. She also helps the younger children with planting.

This is Christian. His role in the team is to plant seeds and water plants.

This is Michelle. Her role in the team is to plant seeds and water plants.
KAYLA ZEGARRA
This is Kayla. Her role in the team is to make plans for lessons, planting seeds, and managing the social media along with Joenna. She also helps the younger children with planting.
OUR WORKS
What Have We Been Working On?
AIR POLLUTION TEST
For this experiment, we need paper plates and Vaseline to test the amount of air pollution. We smear Vaseline onto the paper plate and hang them in various places at our school. Then, dust will attract to the paper plates.
PLANT, SEED, & SOIL DRIVE
For this activity, we are trying to collect materials for our team. We have printed flyers made by Kayla to notify the staff and students in our school. On the flyer, we have created a list of the supplies that we will need.
GETTING THE YOUNG INVOLVED
For this activity, we are going to teach little kids about air pollution and photosynthesis. The kids will work with us and grow their own plants in their classroom. The kids will be reducing air pollution and purifying the air inside their classrooms with their plants.
